The Board of Director’s for our Agency is encouraging community members to apply for a position on the Board to be effective September 2020. We are looking to recruit three new members to join a dynamic, engaged and inclusive Board of Directors to represent the communities in the region served by our professionals. The Board practices good governance policies in advocating for and governing the work of the Agency in this region.
The Board and each Director demonstrate the commitment of Family and Children’s Services of Frontenac, Lennox & Addington to create an inclusive environment receptive to diverse experiences, perspectives and interests, inclusive of all, where all individuals are treated fairly with decency and respect, free of discrimination or harassment. The Board supports diversity in principle and practice as outlined in the Human Rights Code.
The Board of Directors, through good governance practices, define, advance and support the work of the agency as articulated in Agency’s Vision Statement – “Children and Youth Growing Up in Their Families, Cultures and Communities.”
We are proactively seeking, and strongly encouraging, applications from those individuals who would contribute to the further diversification of our Board, to advancing the FACSFLA strategic plan and to providing good governance to sustain the programs and services of FACSFLA in the region. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, however, in accordance with Canadian immigration requirements, Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada will be given priority.
